(CEC) is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer, P.E. to join our growing team in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This is an opportunity for an experienced geotechnical professional to combine technical expertise, project leadership, and client relationship management while helping support the continued growth of our geotechnical practice throughout the region. In this role, you'll collaborate with experts across civil engineering, transportation, environmental, water resources, survey, and construction services. Responsibilities: Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout all phases of project delivery Support proposal development, project scoping, and client relationship management Oversee field drilling and sampling operations, ensuring quality and safety in data collection Prepare and review boring logs, laboratory testing programs, and geotechnical data analysis Lead and contribute to the design of geotechnical elements including foundations, slopes, and retaining structures Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and project documentation Provide geotechnical input across a variety of projects, including building foundations, landslide remediation, and infrastructure improvements Oversee construction materials testing services, including earthwork, concrete, foundations, masonry, and pavements Mentor and support junior engineers, geologists, and field staff Lead and manage geotechnical subsurface investigations, including planning, coordination, and execution What We Offer: Sign-on bonus for eligible candidates 100% employee-owned firm with a clear path to ownership within your first year of employment Competitive compensation with multiple income streams, including paid overtime, performance bonuses, and stock ownership 55% of profits distributed through employee bonuses Opportunity to take on leadership and mentorship responsibilities within a growing practice Diverse project portfolio across geotechnical, energy, infrastructure, and site development sectors Flexible and hybrid work schedule options Comprehensive benefits starting day one (healthcare, dental, vision), along with a 401(k) with a company match beginning the first of the month following your start date A collaborative, multidisciplinary environment that supports innovation and continued professional growth Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in West Virginia or ability to gain reciprocity 8+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, preferably within a consulting environment Experience managing geotechnical investigations and leading technical project work Strong experience with geotechnical analysis, report preparation, and foundation design Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients and project teams About Us We have experts!
