As a flagship Wolfgang Puck restaurant, Spago operates at Michelin-level standards, where precision, consistency, technique, and attention to detail are expected in every plate.This is an opportunity to work alongside an accomplished culinary team in a high-performance kitchen where you'll be challenged to sharpen your skills, learn from experienced chefs, and contribute to an exceptional dining experience.Pay: $23.00–$28.00 / hourWhat You'll DoPrepare and execute dishes to Wolfgang Puck's exacting standards of quality, consistency, flavor, and presentationExecute each dish with precision, following recipes, prep lists, station guidelines, and plating standardsMaintain consistency and attention to detail throughout every service, even in a high-volume environmentWork closely with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and the Executive Chef to ensure smooth, efficient serviceMaintain proper mise en place and ensure your station is fully prepared and organized before serviceDemonstrate strong timing and communication during serviceMaintain a clean, organized, and sanitary station in accordance with food safety and sanitation standardsTake ownership of your station and proactively communicate needs, challenges, and opportunities to improveContribute to a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous learning, and culinary excellenceWhat We're Looking For2+ years of line cook experience in a fine-dining environmentExperience working in a Michelin-recognized, Michelin-level, or other highly regarded fine-dining kitchen strongly preferredHigh-volume restaurant experienceStrong understanding of cooking methods including roasting, braising, searing, poaching, frying, and other classical and modern techniquesStrong knife skills and working knowledge of professional kitchen equipmentExceptional attention to detail, particularly with plating, portion control, measurements, and consistencyAbility to execute recipes and prep lists accurately and maintain established standardsStrong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanlinessAbility to work with speed, precision, and composure in a demanding service environmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsCuriosity and genuine desire to continue developing your culinary skillsPassion for food, hospitality, and the Wolfgang Puck philosophy of excellenceWhy Spago Beverly Hills?Join a kitchen where technique, discipline, creativity, and teamwork come together at a high level.
