Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will support the Goodwill of San Antonio's on-line commerce department by sorting and testing merchandise for on-line sales. Product research, listing on multiple on-line platforms, and the receiving and shipping of product is also part of this job function.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Pre-sort items using manual and electronic methods
2. Sort, identify, process, prepare, organize, and test items to be posted on on-line
3. Utilize tools to aid in item descriptions such as gram/weight scales, measuring tape
4. Clean and repair scratched media as needed
5. Specialize in individual, small-large lots/groupings, designer lots, themed lots, grab boxes/grab bags, as well as mixed lots and other misc./specialty lots
6. Organize inventory
7. Consistently meet or exceed listing goals
8. Communicate with Supervisor / Manager to correct any problems that prevent items from being posted
9. Process returns and refunds
10. Assist with relisting and recycling of items
11. Keep accurate and efficient order of inventory items
12. Perform office housekeeping to present a neat and professional image
13. Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
14. To accommodate business needs and objectives, other duties may be assigned by Team Lead or Manager.
15. Assure accuracy of identification, sorting, allocation and PPI (price per item) value
16. Ensure all totes and items received are sorted/identified accurately and properly on a consistent basis with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, including store allocation/location, date received/processed, weights and measurements
17. Communicate with Supervisor / Manager to correct any problems that prevent items from being posted online or shipped to customers
18. Process returns and refunds
19. Assist with relisting and recycling of items
20. Communicate with Supervisor / Manager when shipping and transportation procedures are not being followed
21. Accurately track critical metrics including budget reports, inventory data and customer satisfaction levels
22. Keep accurate and efficient order of inventory items
23. Record inventory items in spreadsheets

REQUIREMENTS

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D., Some college or trade certificate in artistic or technical field
2. 3 years of experience in a service-driven environment required.
3. Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Demonstrate necessary computer skills.
6. Handle fast paced environment with high levels of stress and remain flexible.
7. Analyze, evaluate situations, and develop alternatives for conflict resolution.
8. Proficient with spelling/grammar including use of abbreviations, definitions and item conditions
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
10. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
11. For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.
