Data Entry Clerk
This position is responsible for liaising with and following up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information. The data entry clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You will identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers.
- Maintaining company database by entering new and updated customer, customs account information.
- Accurately entering data into corresponding fields within various software programs.
- Preparing relevant reports in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
- Monitoring and updating existing data when required.
- Identifying discrepancies in information and reporting issues to the team leader for resolution.
- Providing general data entry support across many teams on an ad-hoc basis.
- Completing other clerical office responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Required qualifications and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience.
- Above average and accurate data entry skills.
- Intermediate PC, MS Office knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of customs and related paperwork.
- Attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficient typing skills.
Physical demands:
- Occasionally bend, squat, kneel, reach above shoulder, and frequently sit, handle objects (manual dexterity), use fine finger movement.
- Occasionally must carry/lift load of up to 15 lbs.
Work environment:
- Occasionally exposed to excessive noise, is around moving machinery.
- Frequently read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, reason and analyse.
$750 per week
