IT Tier II Technician

In this role, you'll provide advanced technical support for resort systems, guest-facing technology, end-user devices, and audio/visual equipment while troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues. You'll collaborate with IT Infrastructure and Security teams to implement system upgrades, maintain technology environments, and ensure reliable day-to-day operations across the resort. This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies, support multiple business functions, and occasionally travel to other Kalahari locations. Salary Range - $63,000-$70,000 per year. This is an on-site position. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of business operations to effectively triage and resolve technical issues Leverage prior IT experience to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system and application problems Collaborate with infrastructure and IT Security teams to install, configure, and test system upgrades, patches, and new versions Participate in a team-based on-call rotation to support critical systems outside of standard business hours Provide flexible on-site support, including occasional evenings, weekends, and off-hours as needed Travel occasionally to other resort locations to support IT operations and initiatives What We’re Looking For: We do require that you have a background, consisting of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong technical IT background with experience supporting hospitality, restaurant, gaming, retail, or entertainment technologies, including POS systems, property management systems, kiosks, tablets, payments, and other business-critical applications. Experience collaborating with business teams to gather requirements, support solution design and implementation, and maintain application environments across Windows, Linux, databases, integrations, and reporting platforms. Knowledge of IT operations and support best practices, including incident, problems, and change management, vendor coordination, system documentation, security compliance, and production support. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset, the ability to support guests and operational teams, and a collaborative approach to working across departments and assisting teammates as needed.
