• Salary depends on experience. Personality and how they interview will be a significant factor in the interview, obviously, since the dispatcher is a primary face to the client. A reasonable total compensation (salary + bonus + profit sharing) range in our industry and region for a dispatch hire would be $50K - $70K.
• Someone with minimal or no dispatch experience would be at the bottom end of that range. I'm not interested in someone with no dispatch experience.
• Someone with some dispatch experience in a different field would need significant training for HVAC. They would probably start in the low to mid-$50's. Someone with significant residential HVAC dispatch experience would be slightly better; might be close to $60K. Someone with significant commercial HVAC service dispatch experience would probably be somewhere between $64K-$70K.

Location: Santa Fe Springs, CA | Full-Time | In-Office
Western Allied Corporation is looking for a highly organized and service-oriented HVAC Dispatcher to join our fast-paced Service Department. As part of a collaborative dispatch team, you'll be responsible for scheduling and dispatching technicians using our cloud-based service management software. You'll play a key role in coordinating emergency and scheduled service work while ensuring smooth communication between our field techs, customers, and office staff.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming service calls-emergency, scheduled maintenance, and quoted work
• Prioritize and dispatch HVAC service technicians based on urgency, location, and availability
• Maintain and monitor technician schedules to ensure timely service delivery
• Communicate effectively with techs in the field, providing job details and updates
• Issue and manage purchase orders for parts needed to complete service calls
• Track part deliveries and coordinate scheduling once parts are received
• ccurately document service activity within our software platform, BuildOps
• Collaborate daily with the billing, sales, and purchasing teams to support seamless operations
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and a proactive mindset

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience dispatching in a fast-paced service environment (HVAC preferred)
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills; you thrive under pressure
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-verbal and written
• Comfort using dispatching software (BuildOps experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, terminology, and service processes is a bonus
• Proven ability to work well in a team and adapt to shifting priorities
