Field Quality & Compliance Specialist - Part-Time

City Wide Facility Solutions is seeking a dependable, mature, and highly capable Field Quality & Compliance Specialist to support service quality and contract compliance across client locations in South Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. This is an in-person, field-based role working approximately 20–25 hours per week , generally capped at 29 hours without prior approval . The role requires strong literacy, professional judgment, and the ability to interpret contractual service requirements, translate them into standardized field inspections, and document findings clearly and accurately. The Field Quality & Compliance Specialist is responsible for visiting assigned client sites, inspecting completed services against the contracted Scope of Work, documenting findings, identifying deficiencies or opportunities, and communicating clearly with the appropriate City Wide team members and Independent Contractors. This role does not manage employees . Success requires someone who can create and follow a plan, work independently, think quickly, use sound judgment, communicate professionally, and collaborate effectively with others. Primary responsibilities include: Complete approximately 4–6 planned client-site visits per shift , depending on route, facility size, traffic, and service needs. Inspect completed services for quality, consistency, and compliance with the client’s Scope of Work. Document inspections with clear notes, photos, and required follow-up. Communicate service deficiencies and corrective-action needs professionally and promptly. Coordinate visit timing when needed to align with contractor service schedules. Escalate urgent client, safety, quality, or operational concerns quickly. Identify potential facility needs, service improvements, and opportunities for additional support. Follow assigned routes, priorities, systems, and reporting expectations while adapting appropriately when field conditions change. High school diploma or GED required. Some college coursework strongly preferred; Associate degree or higher preferred. Strong reading comprehension and ability to understand service agreements, scopes of work, client requirements, and written operating procedures . Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, accurate, professional inspection reports and follow-up notes . Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout South Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. Availability to work approximately 20–25 hours per week , generally capped at 29 hours without prior approval . Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills. High attention to detail and ability to identify service-quality deficiencies. Mature judgment, common sense, and practical problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently without constant supervision while collaborating effectively with clients, Independent Contractors, and internal team members. Comfortable using a smartphone, mobile apps, email, photos, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting systems. Prior experience in commercial facilities, janitorial services, inspections, quality assurance, property operations, hospitality, logistics, or another field-service environment is preferred. This is a part-time position designed with a focused compensation and support package. Mileage / vehicle-use stipend for approved business travel in accordance with company policy. Company-provided mobile phone and service plan for business use. Paid training and onboarding required to perform the role.
