Buyer/Planner

We're seeking a Buyer Planner to support purchasing, materials planning, and production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing material availability, reviewing MRP output, executing purchase orders, and helping ensure on-time production and shipment schedules. Responsibilities Buyer Planner Location: San Jose, CA Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/hour About the Role We're seeking a Buyer Planner to support purchasing, materials planning, and production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing material availability, reviewing MRP output, executing purchase orders, and helping ensure on-time production and shipment schedules. Candidates with SAP experience and a strong supply chain background are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Review MRP output and release purchase orders Monitor material availability to support production schedules Participate in daily and weekly production meetings Identify and resolve material shortages, delays, and supply risks Communicate inventory, purchasing, and production status to stakeholders Generate reports and provide updates to leadership Coordinate with suppliers and global manufacturing partners Support kit completion and on-time shipment goals Perform additional purchasing and supply chain activities as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 1-3 years of Buyer, Planner, Buyer/Planner, Production Planning, or Supply Chain experience Experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA Understanding of MRP, purchasing, inventory control, and planning processes Experience working with bills of material (BOMs) in a manufacturing environment Strong Excel skills including formulas, lookups, reporting, and data analysis Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to identify supply chain risks and proactively recommend solutions Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting electromechanical manufacturing Background in electronics, semiconductor, industrial, or medical device manufacturing Experience working with global suppliers and manufacturing teams Why Apply?
