Press Brake Operator$23-$25/hour2nd3:15pm-1:15am Monday-ThursdayJob DescriptionQPS Employment Group is seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join a manufacturing team in New Berlin, WI. This position is responsible for setting up and operating brake press equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to customer specifications and engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, strong blueprint-reading skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts. This is an associate to hire opportunity on 2nd shift.Press Brake Operator Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Set up and operate CNC and/or manual brake press machinesRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedulesMeasure and inspect finished parts using calipers, tape measures, protractors, and other precision measuring toolsSelect appropriate tooling and perform machine adjustments as neededEnsure parts meet quality standards and customer specificationsPerform routine equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issuesMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety procedures and company policiesWork closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlinesPress Brake Operator Requirements:Previous brake press operation experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsKnowledge of metal fabrication processes and sheet metal formingExperience using measuring instruments and quality inspection toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsDependable attendance and strong work ethicPreferred experience with CNC brake pressesPreferred manufacturing or metal fabrication backgroundPreferred forklift or overhead crane experience is a plusQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
