Through video consultations and secure messaging, you will assess symptoms, identify underlying health issues, and develop personalized treatment plans. You will leverage digital healthcare tools to support diagnostic decisions, coordinate laboratory testing, and manage prescriptions and follow-up care. Working collaboratively with physicians and other advanced practice providers, you will help deliver seamless, coordinated care in a flexible, technology-enabled environment. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will deliver comprehensive virtual care while ensuring that patients receive accurate assessments, clear guidance, and coordinated treatment throughout their healthcare journey. Conduct virtual consultations through video and secure chat, asking thoughtful questions to identify symptoms, understand medical histories, and investigate the underlying causes of illnesses, injuries, and other conditions. Apply clinical expertise, patient history, and available remote diagnostic tools to develop accurate assessments and determine appropriate treatment options. Develop and coordinate care plans: Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory tests, using digital platforms to personalize treatment and monitor patient progress. Deliver ongoing care: Support patients managing acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and mental health concerns through virtual visits and follow-up consultations. Collaborate with the care team: Work closely with physicians, fellow advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment and maintain continuity of care. Adapt to virtual care challenges: Identify practical, patient-centered solutions to emerging clinical and operational challenges in a digital healthcare environment. Hold an active, unrestricted license as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP). Nurse Practitioner candidates must hold a compact nursing license and be certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Have at least five years of independent patient-care experience as an APP in family practice, primary care, or urgent care. Virtual healthcare experience: Demonstrate experience delivering patient-facing care through digital platforms, including urgent virtual visits, chronic care follow-ups, and mental health conversations. Care coordination: Have experience coordinating treatment plans with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Demonstrate the ability to assess symptoms, make informed diagnostic decisions, manage treatment, and determine appropriate follow-up care independently. Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients and colleagues in a virtual setting. Digital proficiency: Be comfortable using telehealth platforms and digital tools to support clinical assessments, documentation, and care coordination. Demonstrate a patient-first mindset, collaborative working style, and willingness to adapt to the evolving needs of virtual healthcare. Language skills: English proficiency is required; bilingual English-Spanish skills are preferred. Be available to work four 10-hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends. The currently available shift runs from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Hourly compensation: $55-$70 per hour. Healthcare coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
