Custodian
This position is responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of the building and grounds. This role reports to the Building Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming rooms, hallways, stairwells, etc.
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. Wiping down furniture
- Walking the property and picking up trash and possibly needles. (gloves, grabbers, and sharps containers are provided)
- Assist the operations manager with grounds. (watering, weeding, mowing, etc)
- Filling in at front desk when necessary.
- Some lifting of heavy items (under 50 lbs.)
- Other maintenance tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience in basic office/building cleaning and upkeep.
- Experience in customer service
- Experience with automated floor scrubbers a plus but not required
- Must pass pre-employment background screening.
