Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit serving patients of all ages (28 days and older)
• Manage and care for patients with trauma and post-operative Orthopedic and Neurological diagnoses, as well as general Pediatric cases
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Document accurately using the facility's electronic health record system (Paragon, transitioning to Cerner)
• Participate in weekend rotation (3 weekends every 6 weeks) as part of standard scheduling expectations
• Float to other inpatient units as needed to support staffing and patient care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (ADN minimum required)
• 2+ years of adult Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• Ability to care for patients across all age groups (28 days and older)
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of Pediatric nursing experience
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience with Neuro and/or Orthopedic patient populations
• Strong teamwork and collaborative approach to patient care
