Branch P&C Insurance Sales Agent

Job Summary Sales Agent – responsible for selling Property & Casualty and Roadside Assistance insurance that meets the Member’s needs. Key Responsibilities Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs and generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow the overall insurance book of business. Overcome objections to close sales or retain insureds and meet or exceed sales targets defined in the incentive plan and assigned by the manager. Conduct insurance reviews for clients to identify suitable products, assess risk, recommend coverage, quote, bind, and issue policies using provided tools and underwriting guidelines. Provide a sales and service experience that enhances member affinity for the AAA brand and increases satisfaction and loyalty. Proactively solicit and market to business and community events, perform outbound calling, use marketing lists, and cross‑sell or up‑sell to new and existing customers. Respond to customer inquiries and requests regarding insurance products and membership, research and resolve service issues, and assist in initiating the first notice of loss on claims. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. 2 to 4 years of sales experience preferred. Currently possesses or can acquire the unrestricted state‑issued license(s) required to place property and casualty insurance within twenty‑one (21) calendar days of start date. Active property and casualty license(s) may be required depending on start date. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Works in an office setting, primarily seated at a desk or computer for extended periods. May travel by car, plane, or other transportation to attend business meetings or conferences. Approximately 50‑80% of the time involves use of a personal computer.
