Certified Nursing Assistant | CNAJoin our residential neuro rehabilitation team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Direct Support Professional (DSP) and make a meaningful difference helping individuals with neurological injuries build independence and get back to the activities that matter most.Whether you're looking for a full-time weekend schedule or another full-time opportunity, there's a bonus waiting for you!Ready for more than the typical CNA role?At Rehab Without Walls, you'll help patients rebuild independence after neurological injuries— in a home-like residential setting, not a hospital.This is a unique CNA opportunity where care is more personal, flexible, and impactful—and duties are lighter than traditional facility roles.Why This Role Stands OutResidential home setting (not hospital or nursing facility)Lighter CNA workload + more meaningful patient interactionSupport patients recovering from brain injuries, strokes, and complex conditionsHelp patients transition from hospital ? home ? independenceBe part of a collaborative neurorehabilitation teamWhat You'll DoAssist with daily care + life skills developmentSupport cooking, light housekeeping, and transportationParticipate in community-based activitiesAdminister medications (with certification)We Invest in You (Company Paid)Direct Support Professional (DSP) certification within 6 monthsCRMA certification (if not already CNA-M)If you're ready to move beyond task-based care and truly impact lives, this is your opportunity.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and ambulation.Monitor residents' physical condition and report changes in health status to the appropriate clinical staff.Assist with medication observation and medical monitoring as directed by care plans and organizational policies.Support residents in developing and maintaining daily living skills and self-help activities.Encourage independence while providing appropriate supervision and assistance.Foster positive relationships and healthy interactions among residents and their housemates.Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times and maintain a safe living environment.Assist residents with recreational, social, and community-based activities.Accompany residents to scheduled appointments, community outings, and other approved activities.Document care provided, resident progress, and significant observations accurately and timely.Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and team members.Follow individualized care plans and support strategies.Maintain compliance with all agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Participate in team meetings, training programs, and ongoing professional development activities.Perform other duties as assigned to support resident care and program operations.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum age requirements is 18 yearValid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policyCertification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide careWill be required to obtain DSP Certificate within 6 months of employment (company paid)Will be requited to obtain CRMA which company will provide trainingCompletion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aideMust be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reachAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to person-centered care.Preferred:Experience working with individuals recovering from neurological injuries, brain injuries, behavioral health conditions, or other complex rehabilitation needsExperience in residential care, long-term care, rehabilitation, or community-based support settingsAbout our Line of BusinessRehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside the walls of institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment through a continuum of care.
