Sterile Compounding Pharmacist – Come Join the Team!
Location: Lake Butler, FL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM
Start: ASAP
Contract: 13-week+ contract-to-hire
Are you a pharmacist who knows your stuff and brings a great attitude to work? We want to hear from you!
What you’ll do:
•Interpret, verify, and process physician medication orders.
•Perform and oversee sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800>
•Conduct final verification of compounded sterile preparations
•Review medication profiles for safety, allergies, interactions, dosing, and compatibility
•collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals
•supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff
•maintain cleanroom, aseptic technique, and environmental monitoring standards.
•Participate in quality assurance, medication safety, audits, and continuous improvement.
•Maintain compounding, batch quality, and regulatory documentation.
What we’re looking for:
•Active FL Pharmacist License
•Minimum 1 year of experience with hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding in compliance with USP <797> and USP <800>
•Good attitude + strong work ethic
