IT Program Manager

The Program Manager will lead and manage IT projects within an AI-focused program, ensuring successful delivery by coordinating teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources. This role requires expertise in IT project management, AI technologies, cloud platforms, and governance to align projects with organizational goals and drive strategic initiatives. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage projects to ensure alignment with business and IT objectives.
• Define program and project scope, goals, and deliverables with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed program and project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and design solutions.
• Ensure integration of AI models, data platforms, and other components.
• Monitor progress and manage issues or risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate the RFP process, including bidding, proposal evaluation, and solution selection.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to build, test, and implement projects.
• Support establishment of an AI Center of Excellence to drive AI strategy and best practices.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and maintain alignment.
• Communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient resource use and expenditure control.
• Identify and manage program risks with mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement through process enhancements and best practices implementation.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Project/program management certification such as PMP, PgMP, or Agile.
• 8-10 years of experience in IT project/program management focusing on AI and cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure, AI technologies including large language models, and modern data platforms.
• Experience with AI governance frameworks and AI Centers of Excellence.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Industry certifications relevant to AI, Data, and related areas.
• Certification in Scrum or other agile methodologies.

• Must ensure compliance with regulations and governance standards related to AI and IT projects.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders including vendors and internal teams.
• Support for establishing and maintaining an AI Center of Excellence.

• Standard full-time work schedule with potential requirements for coordination across different teams and time zones.
• May require flexibility to manage project deadlines and stakeholder meetings.
