Job Summary

Resource will manage, plan, execute, monitor and control the activities of medium to large information technology projects and teams. They work collaboratively within the division to ensure quality, timely project implementations and business adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, execute, monitor, and control medium to large IT projects.

Manage complex, multi-year projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, meeting agendas, minutes, risk and issue logs, and lessons learned documentation.

Track project milestones, tasks, deliverables, and timelines using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Monitor project performance against approved baselines, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

Communicate project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders and management.

Facilitate project meetings and coordinate activities across IT teams, business groups, agency staff, and vendors.

Ensure compliance with established IT governance frameworks, PMO policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain project documentation and artifacts in accordance with document management standards.

Apply PMBOK and Agile project management methodologies to support successful project delivery.

Support project portfolio management activities and contribute to updates of governance policies and procedures.

Manage project risks, resources, costs, benefits, scope, and change control processes.

Foster collaboration, team productivity, stakeholder engagement, and business adoption.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of project management experience.

At least 2 years of experience managing large, complex, multi-year projects.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Visio.

Intermediate knowledge of Atlassian tools, particularly Jira and Confluence.

Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce technology.

Strong understanding of PMBOK project management practices, including cost management, benefit analysis, risk management, resource management, and change control.

Experience with Agile project management methodologies and IT governance frameworks.

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.

Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve project issues, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
