Registered Nurse - NICU

$2448.00/week - Job Summary: The Registered Nurse in the NICU provides specialized nursing care to neonates and their families, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care. They assess patient needs, implement evidence-based interventions, and educate families to support positive health outcomes. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of neonatal patients to gather pertinent health data. Analyze assessment findings to identify diagnoses or issues requiring intervention. Develop individualized care plans with clear expected outcomes for each neonate. Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of prescribed nursing interventions. Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to promote optimal neonatal health. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols related to neonatal stroke and hyperacute care. Qualifications: Hold Montana Registered Nurse licensure. Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification. Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Provider certification. Possess at least one year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, ED, or ICU nursing experience. Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and an ability to work effectively under stress.
