Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for processing and packaging bulk material in accordance with work instructions and standard operating procedures. This role operates production equipment, maintains accurate documentation, and supports daily production targets while following safety requirements and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to process bulk material according to work instructions and SOPs.
• Load bulk material into the machine using a sit-down forklift.
• Run material through industrial machinery and monitor the process, making adjustments as needed.
• Move processed material to storage bins using appropriate equipment such as a skid steer.
• Maintain proper stock rotation of finished goods.
• Complete work orders and production records accurately and in a timely manner.

Essential Skills

• Proven sit-down forklift operating experience.
• Previous experience operating production machinery and making operational adjustments.
• Experience with documentation and record-keeping in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to consistently lift up to 55 pounds.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in the food and beverage industry.

Pay

$20 to $23

Hours

3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am Sunday through Thursday

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
