We are currently seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate/Fork Life Operator.JOB SUMMARY: Works with materials, equipment, and supplies by performing receiving, warehousing and distribution duties as directed.SCHEDULE:Tuesday-Friday 8:30-5Saturday 8-4ESSENTIAL FUNCTION JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to drive a Non CDL box truck – DOT required (provided by Yale)Ensures product is received, inventoried and shipped properlyOperates Forklift and Clamp TruckHandles receiving cards of product brought back from prior dayObtains labels from Warehouse Supervisor and scans them using the RF scanner into type of stock.Maintains supply inventory for the warehouseKeeps warehouse clean and orderly dailyNo direct management or supervisory responsibilityREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience operating fork lift type vehicles (scissor lift, clamp truck, forklift)Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and writtenAbility to work a full-time schedule including occasional nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skillsAbility to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environmentAbility to process information/merchandise through computer systemAvailability to travel, as neededMust consent to and pass a driving record check, background screen, drug screen, and pre-employment physical including lift test.Must be able to perform manual labor in warehouse environment where there is moderate exposure to heat and/or coldMust have the ability to both sit and stand for a significant portion of the working day. Must be able to bend, lift and carry products up to 100 pounds with no physical assistance.
