IT Business Systems Manager

Compensation: $120,000-140,000 + Full Benefits

BBSI is partnering with a well-established and growing distribution organization to identify an experienced IT Business Systems Manager who will play a critical role in leading the company's ERP transformation and business systems strategy.

This is not a traditional IT Manager position. We're seeking a business-minded technology leader who can bridge the gap between Operations, Finance, Distribution, and Technology while serving as the internal owner of the company's ERP platform and business applications.

Position Summary

The IT Business Systems Manager will oversee the administration, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Acumatica ERP and other business-critical applications. Experience within distribution, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain environments is highly preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

ERP & Business Systems Leadership

• Serve as the primary internal owner and administrator of the Acumatica ERP platform.
• Lead ERP implementation, optimization, upgrades, and user adoption initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership and third-party consultants to align technology with business goals.
• Manage system configurations, integrations, enhancements, and reporting tools.
• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and process standardization.

Process Improvement & Business Partnership

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Purchasing, Inventory, and Customer Service teams to improve workflows and operational efficiency.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop dashboards, KPIs, and business reporting tools.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and visibility across business systems.
• Support leadership with actionable reporting and business intelligence.

User Training & Support

• Serve as the internal subject matter expert for ERP and business applications.
• Train users and department leaders on system functionality and best practices.
• Promote user adoption and maximize return on technology investments.

Vendor & Technology Management

• Manage relationships with ERP consultants, software vendors, and technology partners.
• Assist with technology planning, system security, and future software evaluations.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of ERP Administration, Business Systems Management, IT Management, or related experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience using Acumatica ERP software strongly preferred.
• Experience leading or supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, or system migrations.
• Background supporting distribution, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or supply chain organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in information systems, IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, business analytics, and data management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and Windows environments.
