Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will help create a welcoming, secure environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach, you will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the property by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, issuing access credentials as authorized, and reporting access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building entrances, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control-related observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
