Tallgrass Veterinary Hospital is a progressive, modern mixed animal practice dedicated to providing exceptional care for both our patients and clients. As our practice continues to grow, we're looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered or Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team.

Our caseload is approximately 60% small animal and 40% large animal, giving our technicians the opportunity to work with a wide variety of species. In addition to providing comprehensive mixed animal medicine, we are a regional referral hospital for small animal orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and advanced large animal cases. What You'll Do

As an RVT/CVT at Tallgrass Veterinary Hospital, you'll play an essential role in patient care by:

• Assisting veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatment plans
• Performing digital radiography and assisting with diagnostic imaging
• Monitoring anesthesia and assisting during surgical procedures
• Providing nursing care before, during, and after surgery
• Performing laboratory testing and accurately documenting results
• Placing and maintaining intravenous catheters
• Caring for hospitalized and critical patients
• Working with a variety of species, including dogs, cats, cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and occasional exotic animals
• Educating clients and supporting them throughout their pets' care

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and client service
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to continue learning

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of veterinary technician experience
• Experience with both small and large animal medicine
• Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, radiology, and critical care
