SUMMARY:

The Marketing Business Partner will serve as the primary connection between Havtech Marketing and Controls, Contracting, and Service (CCS) business leaders. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, communications plans, and content initiatives that align with CCS business objectives and support growth across the business unit.

This role will develop a strong understanding of CCS services, customer needs, and market opportunities and translates complex technical information into clear, customer-focused marketing and sales enablement content. This role works closely with business leaders and collaborates across Marketing's in-house functions, including digital, creative, content, communications, and events, to ensure successful project execution and alignment with organizational priorities.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-oriented marketing professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders while driving measurable marketing outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned:

• Partner directly with CCS leaders to understand business goals, customer needs, growth priorities, and marketing opportunities.
• Develop marketing and communications plans that align business objectives with target audiences, messaging, channels, and measurable outcomes.
• Serve as the primary liaison between CCS and Marketing, communicating business priorities, marketing capabilities, project requirements, timelines, and available resources.
• Manage multiple marketing initiatives from intake through execution, coordinating stakeholders, approvals, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Set expectations with business partners and recommend priorities based on impact, timing, and available marketing resources.
• Translate technical HVAC, controls, service, and building systems information into clear, customer-focused content and messaging.
• Write and edit presentations, website content, campaign materials, internal communications, customer-facing collateral, and sales support materials.
• Gather information from subject matter experts to create customer stories, case studies, thought leadership content, and other strategic marketing assets.
• Coordinate with digital marketing colleagues on website content, search engine optimization, email marketing, social media initiatives, campaign execution, and performance measurement.
• Present marketing plans, recommendations, performance results, and strategic insights to CCS leaders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Minimum of five (5) years of professional marketing experience.
• Experience developing and executing digital marketing and communications strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently while building trusted relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
• Ability to learn technical industries, products, and services and effectively translate complex information for diverse audiences.
• Understanding of how an in-house marketing organization operates and collaborates across multiple marketing disciplines.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• B2B marketing experience, preferably within HVAC, engineering, construction, building systems, technical services, or a related industry.
• Experience developing case studies, customer success stories, white papers, or thought leadership content.
• Familiarity with content management systems, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, analytics tools, and project management software.
• Ability to work from one of Havtech’s office locations – Norfolk or Richmond, VA, Columbia, MD, or Pittsburgh, PA.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position.

The salary range listed is an expected range, the actual salary will be determined by education, experience, skills and alignment with local market data. The range is one component of the total compensation for employees.
