Job Description
The Packaging Machine Operator plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and accurate packaging processes within the production team. This position involves operating and monitoring packaging machinery during a single shift, handling routine packaging tasks as well as packaging new product lines, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up packaging machines for daily production runs
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper function
- Perform quality inspections of packaged products
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance
- Document production activities and machine performance
- Report issues and improvements to supervisors
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in packaging operations
- Proficient in operating packaging machinery
- Knowledge of quality control procedures
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Adherence to safety compliance standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic math skills
