Stretch Zone Austin is growing quickly, and we are hiring Stretch Practitioners across 6 Austin-area locations! At Stretch Zone, our practitioners deliver life-changing, practitioner-assisted stretch sessions using our patented stabilization system and proprietary protocols. You'll help members improve mobility, reduce stiffness, recover faster, and move with confidence.

No prior stretch experience is required all training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized practitioner assisted stretch sessions in alignment with Stretch Zone certification standards
• Assess each member's mobility, posture, and movement limitations to determine proper protocols
• Create a comfortable, safe, and highly personalized stretch experience
• Educate members on how regular stretching supports long term wellness and performance
• Support member retention by building strong relationships and reinforcing maintenance plans
• Provide exceptional hospitality and customer service during every session
• Assist with contacting members regarding upcoming appointments, follow-ups, and wellness goals
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all tables, equipment, and studio spaces
• Work closely with studio leadership and sales staff to create a seamless member experience
• Reinforce the culture, energy, and professionalism of Stretch Zone in every interaction

Qualifications

• Passion for fitness, wellness, recovery, or helping others
• Background in exercise science, kinesiology, personal training, massage, athletic training, physical therapy aide work, yoga, or bodywork preferred
• No stretch experience required
• Ability to complete hands-on and virtual training
• Strong communication and people skills
• Desire to help others achieve mobility and lifestyle goals
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform hands-on work
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma required
• College coursework or degree in exercise science, kinesiology, public health, or related field preferred
• Personal training certifications (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, NCSF) or massage/bodywork background is a plus

Most stretching methodologies try to wait out, overpower, trick, or ignore the stretch reflex. The proven way to increase performance and mobility is to work with the stretch reflex with the revolutionary techniques available through the Stretch Zone Methodology (SZM). The SZM Practitioner identifies any postural and movement limitations, then tries to correct or mitigate them through specific applied stretching sessions. With a balanced system the customer will reach their true maximum potential, whether they are an professional athlete, weekend warrior, couch potato, or suffering from chronic pain or illness.

As a minimum prerequisite to SZM we recommend a personal training certification in ACE, NASM, ACSM, NSCA or NCSF and/or a license in therapeutic massage or other accredited body work.
