Capital Equipment Specialist - Chicago, IL - Johnson & Johnson MedTech - Vision Surgical

Johnson & Johnson seeks a Capital Equipment Specialist to drive sales of vision surgical equipment including phaco, laser, femto, and excimer systems across the Chicago territory. The role combines consultative selling, technical product support, and hands-on collaboration with surgeons in operating rooms to advance adoption and market share.
Responsibilities
- Represent JJVS capital products to eye care facilities; achieve assigned sales quotas
- Spend approximately 75% of time in operating rooms supporting surgeons on technique and patient outcomes
- Teach customers advanced surgical techniques with phaco, LCS, and refractive suites
- Collaborate with account executives and specialists to identify leads and close deals
- Maintain CRM records and facilitate service agreements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years medical device sales experience
- Minimum 2 years capital equipment sales experience
- Ophthalmic surgery selling experience preferred
