The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students for future generations. \n MHS is hiring a dedicated Dentist to join our school-based dental team. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact by delivering high-quality care to a pediatric population in a supportive, mission-driven environment. \n What Youll Do \n \n \n Provide comprehensive dental care across three on-campus clinics. \n \n Perform exams, restorations, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, implants, partials), limited endodontics, extractions, and emergency care. \n \n Conduct caries risk assessments and routine checkups. \n \n Deliver preventive and restorative treatments. \n \n Refer students to specialists when needed. \n \n Communicate professionally with parents/guardians. \n \n Support student well-being through compassionate care and behavior management. \n \n Clinic Environment \n \n \n Each clinic includes 1 dentist, 2 Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioners, and 1 dental assistant or EFDA. \n \n Equipped with Dentrix Enterprise software, digital X-rays, intraoral cameras, and select advanced tools (lasers, nitrous oxide systems). \n \n Schedule & Compensation \n \n \n Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 am 4:00 pm \n \n On-call rotation: 1 week every 35 weeks (MonSun). \n \n On-call pay: $70/evening (MF after 4 PM), $125/day (Sat & Sun). \n \n Competitive salary based on experience. \n \n Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, retirement savings with employer contributions, paid time off, wellness programs, and free lunches. \n \n Location: Hershey, PA \n \n \n \n Qualifications: \n \n \n DDS or DMD degree. \n \n Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric or general dentistry. \n \n Valid dental license in good standing. \n \n Anesthesia license (if administering nitrous oxide). \n \n CPR/AED certification. \n \n Up-to-date continuing education, including: Child Abuse Recognition (Act 31); Radiology/DEP; Pain Management & Opioid Prescribing. \n \n Ideal Candidate \n \n Passionate about serving children from underserved communities. \n Committed to integrity and professionalism. \n Willing to engage with students beyond clinical care. \n \n \n Apply Now\n \n
