Title: Molding Tooling Engineer
Location : Libertyville, IL
Job Summary
- Design, develop, and optimize molds, tooling, jigs, and fixtures.
- Review and approve mold designs; perform DFM evaluations.
- Support mold validation, qualification, sampling, and part approvals.
- Troubleshoot tooling and injection molding issues and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure efficient manufacturing.
Required Skills
- Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Injection molding expertise, including Hot Runner Systems.
- Mold design, tooling validation, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Creo/Pro-E, Windchill, and SolidWorks .
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Injection molding machine operation experience.
- Knowledge of thermoplastics, thermosets, and mold flow analysis.
- Familiarity with PCB/electronic assembly and testing tools.
