This is a great opportunity to build technical skills, work with advanced machinery and be part of a collaborative manufacturing team where quality, safety and continuous improvement matter.U.S. Sponsorship or H1B transfer is not available for this role.**Location: **Mansfield MA**Shift: **Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PMWhat will you be doing?Setting up and operating CNC and manual machinery to manufacture medical componentsRunning simple machines simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and qualityUsing precision measuring and inspection equipment to ensure product specifications are metIdentifying and changing tooling as required to maintain efficient operationsCompleting production and quality documentation in line with regulatory and company requirementsWorking as part of a team to support continuous improvement, safety and cleanliness standardsWhat will you need to be successful?High School Diploma or equivalent0 to 6 months of experience operating machining equipment producing simple to moderate complexity componentsBasic math skills and the ability to read and understand blueprintsGood mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and attention to detailAbility to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbsYou. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
