What’s a typical day as Machine Operator? You’ll be:

• Setting up and operating machinery to produce parts, tools, and equipment using sketches, prints, or instruction manuals.
• Inspecting parts visually and dimensionally to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Cleaning and maintaining machines as necessary.
• Troubleshooting and correcting simple manufacturing problems in a timely manner.
• Maintaining supplies and calibration records for pertinent equipment.
• Notifying supervisor when machinery needs maintenance or repairs.
• Adhering to all quality and safety guidelines and maintaining currency on requirements.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Possess 2–4 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Are able to work independently and troubleshoot basic manufacturing issues.
• Are dedicated to maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
