As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing expert support and guidance to our valued customers. You will manage a portfolio of Key Accounts in a fast-paced distribution environment. That includes quotes, pricing, order entry and account management, and you will work closely with Sales, Planning, Accounting and the Warehouse to keep orders moving. Your extensive experience and deep product knowledge will be instrumental in handling customer inquiries and resolving issues. 

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Respond to RFQs, prepare quotes, confirm pricing, and enter and manage sales orders 
• Inform customers about pricing updates yourself, including price increases 
• Set up new accounts by confirming rep-quoted pricing, FOB terms and part numbers with the sales team 
• Schedule freight and coordinate with freight brokers and our 3PL partner 
• Work every day with Planning, Accounting and the Warehouse to deliver a great customer experience 
• Resolve product and service questions: clarify what the customer needs, submit service Cases, explain the best solution, speed up corrections or RMAs, and follow up until the issue is resolved 
• Reach out to customers regularly to check satisfaction, request updated forecasts and ask about new sales opportunities 
• Keep account records and customer reports up to date in CRM 

CAN PROVIDE EXAMPLES OF PROVEN, SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING KEY AREAS:

• 2+ years in customer service, inside sales, or junior account management, preferably in distribution 
• Experience with a large number of SKUs and inventory-driven order management 
• A customer-first mindset, with the ability to balance the needs of customers, sales reps and internal teams 
• Comfort with a fast pace and shifting priorities
• A self-starter who makes sound judgment calls and acts without waiting for direction 
• A strong, persistent problem-solver who follows up until the job is done 
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication 
• CRM proficiency (Sugar, Sage, Power BI, Asana experience is a plus)

Position Salary Range: $30-$42/Hour
