Manager I/II (Collaborative Courts) The Behavioral Health & Recovery Department is looking for a Manager I/II (Collaborative Courts) for the newly created Collaborative Courts Division of the Adult System of Care (ASOC). This Division was created to ensure improved coordinated entry into Behavioral Health care for Stanislaus County residents who are involved in the legal system. The candidate should have experience working with individuals with behavioral health disorders and supervising program operations. Responsibilities Plan, implement, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Collaborative Courts Division of the Adult System of Care Responsible for managing all aspects and tasks related to the planning and implementation of the Reintegration Support Team Accountable for ongoing key processes Provides leadership and oversight of staff mental health assessments, substance use disorder assessments, and ongoing behavioral health care treatment Participate as a positive contributing member within a collaborative team; utilizing conflict resolution techniques Meet deadlines and specific time frames Work effectively; establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of internal and external customers Develop, interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures Generate reports and correspondence that are effective, accurate and timely Lead an effective multi-disciplinary team Communicate with co-workers and community agencies and members of the public Provide a strong commitment to and demonstrate skills in the provision of culturally competent services to diverse populations, consistently utilizing multicultural skills, knowledge and experience Strategically build and maintain relationships with community partners across the County, and participate in a wide range of community collaborative and capacity building efforts, and provide education to reduce stigma Monitor overall program compliance to all department policies to ensure that program meets Medi‑Cal standards Develop and maintain effective communication and reporting mechanisms Maintain accurate records and files Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Active listening – Giving full attention to other people’s statements, taking time to understand their points, asking questions, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Monitoring – Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action. Negotiation – Bringing others together and reconciling differences. Reading comprehension Service orientation – Actively looking for ways to help people. Social perceptiveness – Being aware of others’ reactions and understanding why they react as they do. Strategic planning – Establishing goals and objectives, participating in strategic planning and outcome measurement. Time management – Managing tasks to accommodate multiple deadlines. Writing and speaking – Communicating effectively as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Education and Experience Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling, or a closely related field; AND Manager I One (1) year of lead or supervisory experience overseeing functions in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling. Manager II Two (2) years of progressively responsible management or program coordinator experience in a public or private human services organization performing duties comparable to a Stanislaus County Manager. Desirable Qualifications Possess and maintain a valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Clinical Psychologist, Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). #J-18808-Ljbffr Stanislaus-County-
