Accountant

Accentuate Staffing is seeking an experienced Accountant to support an established technology company in Buffalo, NY. This role is hybrid 3 days in office and 2 days remote. This role is responsible for core accounting functions, including general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts receivable oversight, and compliance-related activities. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer accounts receivable processes Conduct customer credit evaluations and establish new customer accounts Administer and reconcile sales commission programs Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual budgeting process Support periodic sales, insurance, and financial audits Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations Reconcile monthly sales and use tax filings Assist with month-end close activities Conduct initial reviews of customer contracts Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required Minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting experience Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them to business operations High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information Self-motivated professional who is dependable, organized, flexible, and proactive Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to manage files, analyze data using spreadsheets and databases, and prepare presentations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong commitment to customer service and satisfaction Solid mathematical and analytical skills Ability to follow established policies, processes, and procedures Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy #J-18808-Ljbffr Accentuate Staffing
