As a Sales & Marketing Intern on our team, you will contribute to creating meaningful experiences and positive first impressions while supporting initiatives that help residents and families feel welcomed, informed, and connected at The Barrington of Carmel. We offer: Paid internship Cohort experience with exposure across departments Hands‑on experience in the senior living industry Paid holidays Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) The BHI Internship Program is an 11.5‑week cohort experience designed to provide students with project‑based, hands‑on learning within a department aligned with their current field of study. Interns gain practical experience while contributing to meaningful work that supports organizational goals. Throughout the program, interns participate in professional development opportunities, including CliftonStrengths workshops and engagement with members of BHI’s executive leadership team. The program is structured to support a healthy school–work balance, with flexible scheduling that accommodates academic commitments. Support sales and marketing initiatives by assisting with events, promotions, and community outreach efforts. Assist with digital marketing activities including social media content, website updates, email communications, and marketing materials. Help organize and maintain prospect, referral, and resident information within CRM systems and tracking tools. Support new resident welcome and move‑in coordination activities to help create a positive resident experience. Assist with preparing marketing collateral, presentations, reports, and occupancy‑related materials. Observe and support community tours, inquiry follow‑up, and sales‑related administrative tasks. Participate in campus events and help promote resident engagement and community visibility. Provide general administrative and project support to the Sales & Marketing team while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Who You Are: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing or related degree. Passion for caring for seniors with industry interest. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
