Admixtures Sales Representative

Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Area Admixtures Sales main job responsibility is to interface with customers and potential customers while handling issues relating to the sales and potential sales of CEMEX products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to learn the various customer segments as well as a detailed understanding of the overall construction sector as it relates to various economic metrics.
• Ability to grow the existing customer base and develop opportunities beyond current accounts as a means for capturing new business.
• Identify upselling opportunities.
• Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of customer organizations and management.
• Build and maintain business relationships.
• Provide technical support to customers with inquiries regarding their purchases.
• Communicate price information to customers and develop overall market price strategy in collaboration with Admixtures Sales Manager.
• Work with accounting & logistics as needed to solve customers' issues.
• Be honest and proactive in all your communications.
• Perform all other necessary duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years' experience in building materials industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Self Directed
• Strong time and organizational management skills.
• Strong basic computer skills, which include Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of customer operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Working Conditions:

• Long periods of standing and/or walking required.
• Some exposure to dust, noise, and extreme temperatures.
• Long periods of driving.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and fingering to a significant degree
• Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
