Lead Residential HVAC Service TechnicianA rapidly growing national HVAC company with multiple locations across the United States is seeking an experienced Lead Residential HVAC Service Technician to join its team in Clearwater, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-level technician looking to step into a leadership role and help manage and grow a thriving service department.

We are seeking a motivated leader with strong residential HVAC experience, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to mentor and support technicians in the field. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in their workmanship, and is passionate about helping build a strong, successful team.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections

• Service and install air conditioning systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, and mini-split systems

• Evaluate maintenance agreement opportunities and system performance

• Deliver outstanding customer service and communication

• Assist in the training, development, and leadership of service and installation technicians

• Maintain a strong focus on safety both on job sites and while operating company vehicles

• Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to stay current with equipment, technology, and industry best practices

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of residential HVAC service and/or installation experience

• EPA Certification required

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities

• Leadership mindset with the ability to coach and support team members

• Professional communication and customer service skills

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Clean background check

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation & Benefits

• $30–$40/hour plus bonuses and commissions
