CNC MachinistLocation: The Woodlands, TXDuration: 6 MonthsShift: 6:00am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday (OT on weekends as needed)Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.Program, edit, and troubleshoot CNC machine programs as needed.Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments.Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate production and quality records.Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.Collaborate with engineers, quality personnel, and production teams to meet manufacturing goals.Requirements:Technical training, vocational certification, or apprenticeship in machining.Minimum 1 year of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.Experience with CNC programming and machine setup.Proficiency using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges.Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills:Safety boots and prescription safety glasses are required.
