The Supply Chain Security Officer's role is to keep the facility safe and profitable at all times by executing company programs and investigating any suspicious activities or behavior in the facility. Responsibilities Conduct surveillance – observe associates and contractors to identify behaviors or activities that may indicate theft, fraud, or violence. Support shrinkage awareness programs – educate associates on current shrinkage issues and promote actions to maintain profitability. Accountable for report writing and record maintenance – produce detailed, accurate reports for the company and law‑enforcement agencies. Respond to emergencies – provide first‑responder aid such as CPR, clean up of bodily fluids, and operation of a fire extinguisher when required. Maintain facility truck entrance – ensure proper execution of processes at the facility truck gate. Utilize the CCTV system – operate the system to detect threats related to theft, shrinkage, violence, and to ensure associate and visitor safety. Various posts – maintain control of entry and exit points on the property, conduct foot patrols indoors, vehicle patrols outdoors, and assist with audit inspections.
