Job Title Clinical Research Assistant 2-Clinical Trials Management Office Department Medicine | Clinical Trials Management Office Job Description Summary To provide assistance in support of clinical research studies being done within the College of Medicine (COM) Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology/Hepatology/Nutrition (GHN) in partnership with the COM Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM); assists with implementation and coordination of studies; participates in recruitment of study participants; performs behavioral or diagnostic testing; assists with collection maintenance & reporting of clinical research data. Assist with collection, maintenance & reporting of clinical research data. Qualifications Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Required: 0 years of relevant experience. Preferred Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience; experience in research capacity desired; knowledge or experience in specialty may be desired; experience in phlebotomy may be desired; experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired; computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired. Additional Information Function/Subfunction: Research and Scholarship/Clinical Research. Career Band: Individual Contributor-Technical. Career Level: T2. Location University Hospital - Doan Hall (0089). Some travel to main campus and outpatient locations may be required. Other locations within the Columbus metropolitan area include Dublin, New Albany, Powell, Grandview.
