Job Description

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine material, labor, and equipment costs.
Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary pricing information.
Track and document project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Evaluate project risks and provide recommendations to minimize cost overruns.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing and construction trends.
Assist in negotiating contracts and sourcing materials.
Support the team in developing value-engineering solutions.

A successful Construction Estimator should have:

Experience with preparing cost estimates for construction projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market pricing.
Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
