About the Position

A well-established inpatient behavioral health facility in historic Georgetown, Delaware is seeking a  Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, permanent position.

This is a 100% onsite inpatient role (no telehealth) offering an outstanding weekday schedule with exceptional work-life balance.

Position Highlights:

• Monday–Friday, day shift schedule
• No weekends
• No call
• Replacement position
• Average 18 patients per day
• 99-bed inpatient facility
• Collaborative team environment:

  • 2 Psychiatrists

  • 3 Advanced Practice Providers

  • No Psychologists on staff

• EMR: Wellsky

Patient Population & Treatment Focus:

• Anxiety disorders
• Affective disorders
• ADD/ADHD
• Eating disorders
• Personality disorders
• Developmental disorders
• Psychotic disorders

Candidates must have experience with:

• Involuntary commitments
• Pharmacotherapy

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 0–5 years of residency) – Required
• Active Delaware medical license (or willing to obtain) – Required
• DEA (must be obtained prior to start) – Required
• CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) – Required
• BLS (or willing to obtain) – Required
• Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days) – Required
• Must demonstrate permanent interest (no locums)
