ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - LITIGATION

Candidate Profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active and good standing membership with the Florida Bar.
• A minimum of 4 years of diverse litigation experience.
• Judicial clerkship experience at a federal or state supreme court is advantageous.
• Prior experience in a law firm setting is beneficial.
• Proficient in legal research, writing, and analysis with the capability to draft legal documents independently.
• Adept at managing multiple cases in a dynamic environment.
• Exemplary judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and a pragmatic approach to legal challenges.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also being self-driven.
• Dedication to continuous professional development and community service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, and other court documents.
• Assist senior attorneys in case strategy, development, and client communication.
• Engage in discovery processes, including drafting requests, responses, and reviewing evidence.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, offering litigation support.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Organize and manage case files, ensuring compliance and accuracy with deadlines.
• Effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary ranges from $310,000 to $390,000, based on experience and market factors.
