This full-time, full-year contract position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about fostering communication skills in children and adolescents. You'll play a hands-on role by providing on-site or hybrid support—bringing your expertise directly to campus, as this position is not available as fully remote.
Your background in working with pediatric and school-based caseloads makes you a great fit whether you're a seasoned SLP-CCC or a Clinical Fellow. Comprehensive supervision and professional collaboration are built into the assignment, ensuring you’ll have mentorship and support along the way.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of/eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred, but open to strong new graduates
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfort working on-site or in a hybrid capacity (no fully virtual placements)
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate constructively with teachers, special educators, school staff, and parents
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
