Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial areas, including production spaces, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity at the location. Support daily operations by observing workplace conditions, reporting hazards, and/or assisting with orderly responses to disruptions, deliveries, or visitor-related matters.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
