Pay: Based on Experience

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
• No evenings or weekends.

Serenity Smiles Dental Care is seeking an experienced Dental Insurance & Front Office Coordinator who is passionate about exceptional patient care and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused private practice.

This is much more than a traditional front desk position. We're looking for someone who can confidently manage dental insurance, help patients understand their treatment, provide outstanding customer service, and keep the front office running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Insurance Coordination:

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims.
• Resolve denied or delayed claims and communicate with insurance companies.
• Review and accurately post insurance payments and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate insurance information within patient records.
• Monitor outstanding insurance claims and accounts receivable.

Front Office & Patient Experience:

• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and warmth.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Welcome patients and check them in and out.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and patient balances.
• Maintain an organized and inviting reception area.
• Assist with recall scheduling and unscheduled treatment follow-up.

Financial & Treatment Coordination:

• Present recommended treatment plans and discuss financial options.
• Help patients maximize their insurance benefits while understanding their financial responsibility.
• Post patient payments accurately.
• Balance daily collections and ensure accurate financial records.
• Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience required.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, claims processing, and EOB interpretation.
• Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Open Dental is preferred but not required.
