Job Description\n UW Health is seeking a Physician Assistant Pediatrics for a job in Madison, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Pediatrics\n Discipline: Physician Assistant\n Duration: Ongoing\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Staff\n \n \n Work Schedule:\n 1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday and 1:3 weekends.\n Be part of something remarkable\n As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.\n We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:\n \n Care for patients in the Cardiac ICU, Neonatal ICU and in the general care units.\n Provide outpatient coverage in the Cardiology Clinic as needed\n \n Education:\n Minimum -\n \n If Nurse Practitioner: Master’s or Doctorate’s degree from accredited Nursing Program\n If Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program.\n \n Licenses and Certifications:\n Minimum -\n \n If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND Active board certification as a NP in the following: Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.\n \n If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.\n *All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
