Business Development Representative

We are hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a pivotal role in generating and qualifying leads, driving new business opportunities across the AMS region. Based in our Irving, TX office, this role focuses on building relationships with senior decision‑makers in global enterprises through intent‑based, high‑quality and personalised outreach. Responsibilities Identify, research, and prioritise key decision‑makers within your target accounts using tools such as LinkedIn, Apollo, and Salesforce, enriching account and contact data to keep outreach relevant Conduct personalised, intent‑based outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn using structured cadences, and follow up on warm leads from marketing campaigns, webinars, and events Qualify leads using a structured framework (e.g. SPICED), holding discovery conversations that surface real need before passing well‑contextualised opportunities to Sales Handle objections by reframing the conversation and keeping it moving forward, rather than reacting defensively Document all activities, insights, and engagement details accurately in Salesforce to support visibility, follow‑up, and forecasting Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to ensure alignment on messaging, account targeting, and campaign strategy Focus on quality conversations and high‑value interactions that convert into qualified meetings and pipeline, communicating value in terms a senior buyer cares about Stay informed on SAP ecosystem developments, market trends, and competitive dynamics, watching for the trigger events that signal a live opportunity Contribute to the culture of collaboration and continuous learning, working closely with the Senior BDR and Team Lead to refine tactics and strategy Qualifications BDR or Inside Sales experience, selling B2B SaaS or Enterprise software solutions Experience engaging with senior stakeholders in global enterprises through tailored, intent‑based outreach Proven success in complex enterprise sales cycles A persistent and resilient mindset, with a real sense of ownership over your activity and pipeline, and motivation that comes from hitting targets and KPIs Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to adapt your message to different audiences Organised and accurate, able to balance outreach, follow‑ups, and CRM hygiene without letting things slip Comfortable operating in a start‑up or scale‑up environment, open to feedback, and quick to apply what you learn Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools (Salesforce, Apollo, LinkedIn) Success working independently and within a global, cross‑functional team What to Bring A piece of outbound you are proud of, and why it landed A meeting you qualified well, and how you set Sales up to convert it A time feedback changed how you worked Benefits and Initiatives Competitive salary package and bonus Company 401(k) retirement plan Generous paid time off, plus public holidays Hybrid working (3 days per week in our Irving, TX office) Global Flexibility (work abroad up to 1 month per year) Enhanced Parental Leave Paid Volunteer Day Learning and Development Budget STEM Ambassador Programme Partnership Monthly Shared Knowledge Sessions Mental Health First Aiders Programme Basis Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
