Job Title: Warehouse Associate (Non-Driver) - Santa Clara / San Jose Area

Location: Santa Clara, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay: $23/hour

About the Opportunity

A distribution facility in the San Jose metro area is seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate (Non-Driver) to support daily order fulfillment and shipping operations. This role offers steady hours with the potential for long-term placement.
Workers selected for this role are strictly prohibited from having any driving responsibilities for the entire assignment. Steel-toed work boots are required.

Duties

Assemble, pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment
Load and unload common carrier and company delivery vehicles
Prepare shipments for UPS and LTL carriers, including BOL documentation
Verify product quantities, descriptions, and accuracy against invoices
Use a scanner and Warehouse Management System for picking and material put-away
Apply correct labeling, packaging, and shipping instructions
Organize completed orders by delivery route and shelf location
Assist other warehouse personnel and perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Steel-toed work boots required
General knowledge of electrical products preferred
Ability to meet deadlines and maintain excellent attendance
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Basic math skills for counting and order verification
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work with a team
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
