Linear Accelerator Service Engineer

Salary: $115,000 - 155,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong background in electronics or electromechanical engineering
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing medical Linear Accelerators
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and use diagnostic software tools
• Willingness to travel across the greater Chicago area as needed
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
• Comfortable working independently in clinical settings
• Detail-oriented with strong organization and problem-solving abilities
• Customer-focused, professional, and dependable
• Able to stay composed under pressure and resolve technical issues efficiently

• Install, service, and maintain Linear Accelerators at customer locations
• Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Travel to hospitals and cancer treatment centers throughout the Chicago region
• Diagnose complex technical faults and restore equipment to proper working condition
• Prepare thorough service records and documentation
• Ensure equipment remains compliant with clinical and safety standards
